How PolicyFernway handles site activity, analytics, cookies and partner links.
Email subscriptions
When you subscribe, we store your email address, request and consent times, the notice version, source page and moderation status in a private SQLite database. Requests are pending until reviewed; approval does not itself send an email. We use this information to manage the updates you asked for. You can request unsubscribe or deletion through our contact channel when available, or use the unsubscribe link in an update.
We use a short-lived, keyed fingerprint of the request IP to limit repeated submissions; this expires after 15 minutes. Subscriber records remain until removed or no longer needed for the subscription. A first-party session cookie protects forms and private moderation against forged requests.
Site activity and server records
Hosting and security services may process IP addresses, request times, browser information and requested pages to deliver and protect this website. We use Cloudflare for traffic delivery and security.
Cookies and your browser
A first-party local storage flag remembers when you dismiss our cookie notice. This notice is informational; dismissing it is not a consent control and does not change analytics loading. You can manage cookies and site data through your browser.
Microsoft Clarity analytics
When enabled, Microsoft Clarity loads automatically when you visit public content pages. It helps us understand visits, clicks, scrolling and navigation through analytics and session recordings, and may use cookies and similar technologies. Its loading does not depend on dismissing our notice. We do not intentionally collect insurance applications, financial account details or medical details on this website.

Private crawler logs
We record requests identified as crawlers from their User-Agent, including UTC time, requested path, method, response status, IP address and response duration. These identities are not independently verified. We omit query strings, form bodies and referrers from this application log. Logs rotate at 5 MB with five retained backups; actual retention time depends on volume.
Partner links
Following a partner link takes you to another website that may process your information under its own policies and use referral tracking. We may receive compensation for eligible actions. We do not receive an insurance application through a form on this website.
Contact messages
When you submit our contact form, we store your name, email address, selected topic, message, submission and update times, and review status in our private SQLite database. We use these details to review and respond to your request. Messages remain until removed or no longer needed for the inquiry; they are not newsletter subscriptions. The form uses session-based CSRF protection and a short-lived keyed IP rate limit. Please avoid submitting sensitive personal information.
If you contact us by email, your email provider and our email provider process the message. Please avoid sending medical records, payment details or other sensitive insurance information.
